Going Places....Fast

Looks like I'm about to take off, but it was purely for the pose, despite a real desire to take this Suzuki 1100 for a spin. I forgot of course that the gears and brake are on opposite sides, so it would have been a real disaster.

I used to own a little Suzuki AR80 myself, so I know my way around a motorbike. Anyway, the owner of the bar we were drinking in, Jorge, whose friend owns the bike made me ride pillion with him and then took off around the streets, minus helmets. We survived to tell the tale.

Another lovely day on the beach. All the rain and lightening storms predicted had not yet affected the weather here, until tonight. It poured out of the heavens and the thunder was thrilling. It ended as quickly as it started and Jorge gave us a lift home (not on the Suzuki!)
