It must be the sea air that keeps my parents young and up for a bit of craic.

Following a conversation on the deterioration of the human body, euthanasia, and various ailments, we decided to end on a good note and celebrate age.

After getting my poor father to straddle the banister outside with Mum posing beside him, we settled on the more bizarre shot of my mother wearing a life ring that decorates the patio.

They truly are ageless.
