Our little apprentice!

Kaz and I left home at 8 this morning and went to traralgon via Bunnings to swap over some stuff! I finished off the sanding and washing while Kaz started painting!

Cheryl and Spence arrived for a visit at about 11 and Spence wanted to help us paint! Kaz gave him a paint brush and he was so proud of himself painting the wall!! He had to be my blip for the day!!

Our friends Clare and Cindy arrived not long after then we really got down to business! It was so good having the four of us all painting! We finished the undercoat on bedroom 1, did the lounge, hall and nearly all of the kitchen before we ran out of paint and time!

We then tidied up and went out into backyard and put all the old fence palings into the trailer we brought with us today and also filled the skip with all the old building waste that was lying on the ground! The skip is now full and we have a bit of waste left over so will either take it to the tip ourselves or hire another skip.

Clare and Cindy left exhausted, and Kaz and I drive home, picking up a pizza on the way!! Cheryl is putting spence to bed and Kaz is updating our project plan! 37% complete!! Woohoo! We are getting there!!

Tomorrow Kaz and I will drop spence off at daycare and head back down to the house, buying a bit more paint on the way to finish the undercoat. We are then hoping to get as much of the first top coat done as we can. After tomorrow, the next chance we have of going back is next Saturday.
