Man of Steel
Its been 1 full week of being a crafts-man and i have yet to craft anything. In fact i still havent even put my tools in the actual chest. I figured i would pace myself so i dont pull a hamstring or an oblique...
Anywho - busy weekend. After a long week at work and one of the most frustrating days imaginable to end it on Friday - it was time for the weekend.
Friday night was exactly what i needed - DC was in town with the family so the entire gang from high school, with kids and even their parents all went over the the Craytors for a few beers and plenty of laughs. Rarely do we get everyone like that all together in one place. And it was great to see all the little mini-me's playing around the backyard that we all used back in the in the day.
Saturday - surprise birthday/wine tasting for a good friend. We skipped the normal Dundee/Newberg route and went to some wineries a little off the beaten path. The weather gods have finally answered our prayers and bestowed an 85degree day upon us so it couldnt have worked out better. Bottles of wine, picnic lunch, and uncontrollable laughing throughout the entire day.
Today/Sunday - i loath running and would rather stab myself with a spoon than go to the gym everyday if i had a choice... So this morning i decided to take the wife's Townie bike and ride downtown to play around with a newly rented lens. The weather was good but a little cloudy still. I played around with the steel bridge (best bridge in portland) a bit and ended up with a couple shots. Plan for the rest of the day is to maybe get those tool thingys put away, mow the lawn again, watch the Mavs beat the Heat and whatever else my wife tells me to do....
Finally figured out the blipfolio function on this - here are a couple extra bridge pictures.
