Car Booty

Sunday mornings were just made for mooching around car boot sales. Call me weird, but it makes me so happy to come home only a few quid lighter with two happy children (I didn't buy them..) and a haulage of fab new things. Today we got:

- A plastic baby (Summer's purchase of choice made withing 3 minutes of browsing) - 50p
- An orange car and a flat bed truck (Milo's choice) - 60p
- Two fishing nets...we should have been on commission as we directed about 10 other interested parties to the fishing net stall - £2
- A wonderful old mirror lovingly made from two bits of floorboard, from the *all proceeds to curing pancreatic cancer* stall - £1
- A very exciting retro 1950s stool, spearmint in colour and shape - £3
- A single bedding set in a pale yellow plaid, beautifully looked after, soft flannelette and just made to go with Summer's Wallpaper - £3

The only dud buy was a pack of entirely rank assorted fudge, which was utterly horrendous....but even that had a silver lining as the kids were fascinated by the fact that fudge could taste so awful and decided to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when we got home.
