60 years

Milo and Summer have been very excited by all the Jubilee festivities. Celebrations concluded today with Damson Royales in the lounge (the kids had Ribena Royales in *proper* little wine glasses). Milo's drawing of the Queen is on the left, Summer's is on the right. In neither image is the Queen wearing socks (because she is inside her palace mummy). In Milo's picture she has wet socks (hence the footprints), no doubt the result of heading out into the gardens at Buckingham Palace without putting her wellies on. Tsk tsk. Milo also drew another similar picture, but the Queen wasn't smiling, because she was sad that her dad King George had died. Milo is old enough to realise that some things in life are worse than wet socks.
