Wish You Were Here
There's so much great quality street art round every corner in SF, but I liked the simplicity and thought behind this piece.
It was coming up from 16th & Mission, where there's also a great gallery I stumbled into named Creativity Explored. At first glance it's a swish gallery space, with a studio in the back where you're encouraged to go in, browse through work and meet the artists.
After flicking through some great work, it took me a while to realise that all the artists there had learning disabilities. The studio was a place to create and sell work, completely without judgement. I'm very happy with the pieces I picked up there.
