Magnolia Has Arrived

This spring I've showed you the development of the southern magnolia bloom. Well here it is now almost opened. It's a large bloom, (approximately 8 inches/20.3cm from tip to tip when it is fully opened) The best thing about magnolia is their perfume. It's one of the pleasures of summer :)
