After the 53 mile ride in the hill country, after the long afternoon in the sun, after camping out last night with the 2011 Texas 4000 for Cancer team, after a long night followed by a 4 am wake up call, after a long drive home (traffic sucked!) I am tired.

This morning was beautiful. Its been a long while since I've been awake and outside to see the black night sky dim and give way to the pre-dawn light and glow of a majestic morning.

It was a special morning in that we got to cook breakfast for the 2011 team, partake in their ride dedication circle, show/share with them their first Haka, and see them off on their incredible journey, an adventure of a lifetime.

It was a whirlwind weekend. Sorry I didn't get to see or spend more time with friends in Austin. I miss you all and that beautiful city.
