Preston is 4

More balloons and wonderful friends...

- Three loved ones all happily watching Preston's birthday balloons floating above us following his fab birthday party.
- Four birthday balloons for Preston, the lovely boy I first met at the CHARGE conference and who enticed me to keep his Mama & Daddy whom I didn't yet know, going up and down in an elevator because I was so enamored with them all. And for the next 4 years, Kristi has continued to be a shining star in not only my life, but everyone else in the special needs community she touches. Today should of course be one of the shots I took of them, but I think too that after the week we've had, coming out with an image at all deserves a bit of praise!

Church was another Godsend this morning. Ssshh.. anyone will think I'm getting all religious!

On the location: Funny thing is, this was taken in a parking lot. Scouting around outside the venue for a place to take some quick shots of the family, I found this gorgeous bougainvillea delightfully with a patch of shade before it. The transitional light on the boys' faces is exquisite. Thank you dearest Kristi for tackling the big 5Dii for me with about 2 seconds of instruction!
