Making curry

This is how you make Thai food in Bangkok. You go to the market early in the morning and buy the herbs and spices. Then you bring them back to the street where you have your food stall. Then you sit on the ground and grind all the herbs and spices into a paste in a huge pestle and mortar before cooking delicious food using only a gas ring for lots of people all day long .The humidity was so high when I took this photo the camera steamed up but I think it adds atmosphere to the picture!!
