like molten metal
We set sail at 10.30pm last night. After a couple of hours of shut-eye from one till half three I unfolded my limbs back up deck to the sight of this, halfanhourish before the first glimpse of the sun on the horizon and not a soul in sight. We were coasting on the breeze too so there wasn't a sound, just the sublime noise of wind in the sail and the gliding of water underneath as we coasted in a sea of candyfloss pinks and parma-violet blues.
It's a moment that will live with me forever.
