Shades of green

All quiet in the house tonight.

But outside whilst taking this shot in the woods at around 9.15 pm, the rooks in the trees above were making such a racket. So many nests in the trees. Dozens of rooks. Incredibly noisy creatures!

And very sociable.
Talking, or should I say squawking to each other at this time of the day. And then at some designated point in the proceedings, one of them must decide it's time for a fly-past and they all take off and do a circle around and above the woods.

The car takes a hit most days...
