White edged purple lilac

My mother grew lilacs. The scent of lilacs sends me back home so quickly. I have finally, after many years, acquired lilacs in my garden. This year, with the ABUNDANCE of rain, the blooms are wonderful. Hurrah!

This white edged lilac was given to me three years ago by my husband and my youngest. To have them finally bloom so well has made my heart happy.
