Mad Hatter Flower
Mad hatter emergency babysitting in progress, we had a trip to visit several letter boxes and to bring back some interesting things on the way home. One of them was this beautiful flower which grew under a letter box. By the time Mr Nearly Three got it home it was in a more "interesting" state. I think in a mad hatter sort of a way it showed what life is like for toddlers. Bright, demanding attention, worthy of a very intense look and study, followed by jumping and flying it off the driveway edges to see if it was maybe a butterfly and not a boring flower. It is possible this flower had the best day of its life...
Background is interesting because it was taken up against a glass window in a vase and the colours show through from outside. It ended up being perfect.
