Bit o' cheer

So I've realised there's a distinct b/w theme to my recent entries. This is fine, I like b/w, but I think there's a place for a splash of colour and this is it.

Metaphorically, the splash of colour in my day was a phone call I've just had from a professional buddy of mine. By which I mean a buddy I know through professional circles rather than someone I pay to be my friend. We were hoping to meet up today and although that hasn't worked out, it was lovely to have a chat.

Friendship is such a gift.
