Layers
This peeling paint made me stop and I blipped it (making some of L's friends stare in amazement that I should take a photograph of that). I like the layers and the thoughts about who would have lived there when it was any of those colours. It's a bit like archeology I suppose, peeling back layers.
At work, I've just discovered, the doors were green before they turned red. It's unimaginable to think that the doors could ever have been any other than red.
Work is tugging along but I've come to realise how much I've started to take company in the office for granted. So to work with just music in the background proves somewhat challenging. I've managed to tidy a bit more and have a project for tomorrow so I will be occupied and ready for the big invasion on Thursday. We seem to have not yet got the balance right between no-one and everyone at the same time using the office.
At least I'm not on my own in the building and lunch with J is a welcome break.
