Day two

Day two of the holiday was just as good as day one. Weather was a bit hit and miss but that's what we expected. We had a wander round Ambleside and Grasmere - stopping off at the famous 100+yr old gingerbread shop, which we highly recommend. Seriously, it's amazing! I managed a cheeky shot in there but it's really blurry, so instead here's my evening beverage. I don't normally drink, but being on holiday I thought why not! Reminds me of student days, except I sip halves instead of guzzle pints! 3 halves later and I was pretty smashed! Now just deciding what to do tomorrow, see if we can keep our stunning room another night or move on...
