New Mexico to Oregon Day 3

Drove into Monument Valley Utah, just about sunset.....time for one quick blip. We camped in a rustic campground owned by a Navajo family. They were trying , with little success it seemed, to compete with a large RV park, 8 miles down the road. There was no one there when we pulled in, but soon a fellow named Kevin showed up and said his brother was the owner and we should just pay him (Kevin), which we did. Later that night, the brother showed up and informed us that we should never pay Kevin because he would not be able to recover the money from him. We wished him luck...)
