Been a long time coming ...

... finally BBC Alba comes to Freeview ... ironic that Scotland's Gaelic digital TV station has been kept off free to air terrestrial broadcast until now ... doubly ironic here as we get our feed from Highlands & Islands transmitter. After a lot of campaigning that's all changing now ... Freeview Channel 8 now has the BBC Alba idents and from 17:00 tomorrow ... Gaelic TV will be available to all free of charge to everyone in Scotland :-)
