Snowfall in Springtime

We received the forecast blanket of snow overnight. I went out as soon as I could (it's always fun to be the first one to jump around in the new snow!). This was the view from the end of our track. Everything looked really pretty in the morning light, though you'd never think that this shot was taken about 5 minutes after a very heavy shower, which produced near whiteout conditions! Apologies to those of you who are sick of seeing snow this year, but it is quite a novelty for us here nowadays!

I took Grace out earlier and she looked around in bewilderment, before scraping up a handful of snow from the top of the car and eating it.
