thank goodness for friends...

sometimes the perfect antidote to being a Mother!

I have spent the last two hours making two spinach and feta filo pies which one out of five kids ate. The trifle I have made from leftover wedding cake has already met with negative reviews and they haven't even tried it yet!

But I will not let it bother me, I will let it all wash over me as I head out the door in a few minutes to catch up with my friends who will not moan or demand or cry or yell - or at least not until they have had a few drinks!

PS - my blip is of the boys heading off down the road - gosh someone must have said that there must be chores to be done!
