200 years not out

Another day another conference. I wonder how many in 40 years? Now as Convener of a Committee responsible for colleges in Cambridge, Manchester, Glasgow and a training centre in Windermere, it would be important to be there when one of the Colleges celebrated its 200th birthday.

But didn't have to travel too far since the Scottish college is celebrating its day in Edinburgh. Seminar today - dinner tonight.

The Principal (there have been 16 in 200 years) is my old friend Dr Jack Dyce. Jack is a noted educationalist and an expert on the Danish philosopher Grundvig!

The dry rot? The experts have just said "Dried Wet Rot". Wow -that's a pleasant surprise!
