Names - Cat Power

Today was the day of the big egg hunt. It all started off a bit hectic as I made dough for pizzas yesterday but by this morning, despite being covered it had started crusting over and collapsing so I had to make a new batch. Thankfully we had planty of stuff to make more and, even with ten adults and seven kids, we still had plenty of food.

The kids made pretty light work of the actual egg hunt itself. There were boiled eggs in four different colours to be found and once they'd all been found the kids were to trade them in for four different kinds of chocolate eggs. After that they could get on with the serious business of rolling the eggs that they'd searched for. The photo is the chart on which they tracked how many eggs they had found.

It seemed to me that despite Roz taking at least an hour to hide the eggs the kids seemed to find them all in about ten minutes. Still they were all thrilled with their haul of chocolate. It was great to see all the kids and their folks though.

Today's song is a Cat Power one. If I'm honest I don't know that much about her. She was recommended by a friend but she has a cracking almost ethereal voice.
