Saturday: Lambs' Lugs

Now, I am not really a floral type of person, but I do love these.  We call them Lambs' Lugs but I am not sure what their proper name is.  I first saw them at Sissinghurst a few years ago, and had to be dragged away, because I just wanted to stay and stroke their leaves for hours on end.  When we found some in our local garden centre, K. planted three bushes for me.  Even now, I could sit and stroke them for hours.  I think I need to get out more!

So far today, we have been to the DIY shop, washed the car, and are now pottering in the garden.  We have conformed to every suburban Saturday sterotype!  But the good news is that I am now on nine days off, and we are off to foreign parts at the end of the week which should make for some interesting blipping.

Since announcing the other day that my hair needed cutting and that I looked like a pineapple, I have had a few requests for a self-portrait. Maybe on my next landmark blip ;-)).
