Parsley.
My parents had no success growing it from seed. I put a plant out in the garden a few years ago, and largely forgot about it. In the second year it went to seed, and every year thereafter there have been parsley seedlings galore. The least likely places is where it seems to germinate most readily.
Light rain is falling this evening, and the wind has dropped. The ideal conditions for the dreaded Highland Midgee to seek her prey. I don't envy the huge crowds that will be over by Loch Ness tonight... in any way. I wasn't even aware the event was on this weekend, until chatting at the Barber's on Wednesday.
