Miss V

This is Valentine. She is my niece over from the good ol' US of A for a visit. She is currently staying with my mum (Grannyshortlegs), and stepfather (PaBa).

Here she is wearing PaBa's SES uniform.

The SES (for those outside Australia), is the State Emergency Service, which is mostly made up of volunteers. They are the good folk that (amongst other things), search for lost people, help in natural disasters, etc.

Miss V is 5 1/2 and tends to surprise people that she is only that old. Not only is she tall for her age, but also very well spoken and has beautiful manners.

We all love her to bits :)
