Fish!

I cleaned the fish tank out today. I was sure the fish would be fine in a bucket for a while, so emptied the tank. Clean and sparkling, I dropped the fish back in. There must have been a fish equivalent of cold water shock around the nether regions that we have all felt when lowering ourselves into cold water, because three of the five looked gravely ill. I had one upside down on the bottom, one on its side and one doing a nosedive.

The fish in the photo is of one doing a nosedive and his mate saying "Bob! get up before he flushes you!"

I encouraged them by calling them quitters and told them to "suck it up".

I even used a bamboo back scratcher to get them moving.

It worked - I'd like to think I saved some fishy lives today :)
