Top Gear

Thruxton Race circuit is very near to us and so we decided as a Bank Holiday trip out to go to the races!! It was FREEZING. We didn't stay all that long but it was a lively place to be....lots of boys with their toys. There were several vintage car races - the only trouble was the vintage cars were cars I remember perfectly well from my youth!!! Very worrying. How did I get to be vintage????

Anyway this line of Porsches made me remember the time when I really thought the height of success was to own one..now I'm not sure that I could get in one, and if I managed that I'm certain I wouldn't get out again!
