Montagues and Capulets??

We completed Bradford's Millennium Way today. 45 miles in total but over 2/3 months (we more or less had a month out for holidays.) It has been a real eye opener to the variety of landscape within the Bradford,s boundary. My friend gave me a little badge at the end of it - I was very touched.

As the last walk was relatively short so we decided to walk the first bit again and return to Bingley along the canal side.

This was most entertaining as we saw ducks and ducklings; barges going through the locks and geese and goslings of varying ages.

As we passed and showed an interest in the geese they came hurrying towards us, obviously expecting food. The older goslings started attacking the younger ones and eventually two of the adults went for each other --eek! It is a little blurred but a moment not to be missed for blip. One disappeared under the water and came up several yards away. The next shot I took showed the water covered in feathers.

Great drama on the canal.
VIEW LARGE - you can see the younger goslings in the middle of the shot and the older ones in the distance on the right hand side.
