The barred owl

This picture did not turn out as I had hoped, but I am posting it anyway. I wanted to share this owl with you for it was beautiful. In this his eyes are closed and he reminded me so much of a puppet that I was a bit surprised when he did not open his eyes and talk and sing. He did open them, but was not as happy to see me as I was him.
