Defender Dog

Yip Yip Yip was all I heard from this dog as I passed by on my morning walk. He is really defending his turf, I thought, and it is good that he is behind that fence or he will tear my leg off. He sounded menacing. Back in the house he had a brother that was adding to the din. It must be a burden to live with two yipping dogs.

Later I saw that he was wagging his tail and evidently sending me a noisy greeting. Lucky that he had his mouth closed when I took this photo.
