At the starting line

After many trains and planes I arrived back in Jodhpur this morning. I have spent the day getting my bike up to scratch ready for the trip ahead.

The plan is to take this 1977 Royal Enfield Bullet to the Himalayas. The original plan was to make it all the way to Leh but as the Indian High Commission took thier sweet time over my VISA I only have two weeks before I'm back to work. I shall however be making it to Himanchal Pradesh in 3-4 days time.

Tomorrow, day 1, I'm going to go for an early start (3am!) to clear most of the steaming hot Rajasthan desert as quick as.
