Nice day for a day out

The quietness of the office this morning was thankfully disturbed by the honking & hooting of car horns. This reminded one of my colleagues that today was the annual Edinburgh Taxi Trades Children's Day Out.

We got to a vantage point in the office and saw some of the cars passing down the Cannongate...another colleague and I hummed and hawed about whether we could make it down three flights of stairs and up to the street to take some photographs...eventually he decided to go for it so I kept him company.

Glad we did as we did get a few pics as well as a soaking from some of the kids who had water soakers:-)

Hope they all had a fab time...I'm sure they did.
