another visitor and a slide

This morning we had our second visitor of the week arrive in the shape of my cousin's husband who had a job interview in London today and needed somewhere to stay incase he got through to the interview the next day. He arrived pretty early and Amelie was a little shy at first but was soon enjoying yet another person there to read her books and drag off to her room. Once Amelie was down for her nap we had a little bit of lunch before Ali headed off for his interview. When Chris came back from the morning's work he took us to Hobbycraft to get some wool for another cardigan my Gran is going to knit and then we went to Tilgate Park for a walk. Amelie did so well with her walking there, there was only a little bit of running off in the wrong direction and she mostly went where we told her to go. This is her enjoying her first proper slide, without being held onto, on a massive slide!!! She loved it! Back home and she was really tired but unfortunately we went past the point of sleep andinto overtiredness and fighting sleep. It had been a long day for her. When we eventually got her down we all enjoyed a roast dinner, a day late.
