back-blipped

My Gran arrived today to spend a few days with us. She hasn't seen Amelie since Christmas so she was very excited to see her! We picked her up at the airport and then came back for some breakfast before we headed into Reigate. It was pouring with rain and Amelie fell asleep in the buggy so we went to Cafe Rouge a bit earlier than I had booked for. Amelie, predictably, woke up just as we got in. She could have done with a little bit more sleep but was eager to join us at the table. She then spent about 15 minutes playing with her water and a straw. Instead of sucking it, she decided just to dip it and spray it in her face before licking up the excess. Lovely! We had a nice lunch and then headed back home as it was pretty miserable. Amelie and Gran read lots of books in the afternoon and then we had wine and cheese and biscuits for dinner when Amelie went to bed.
