On the way home

We had to break the journey, it was a long 'un. So where better to stop than Betty's (answer: nowhere is better than Betty's). For a change we went to the York version, very tiny and a queue all the way up the stairs. But soooo worth waiting for. Whereupon I had: a raspberry lemonade, a banana milkshake and moroccan mint tea, and pikelets. Yes, I was thirsty.

York was absolutely mobbed and we hightailed it out of there pretty quickly.

Nice to be home again, but I did love our Whitby sojourn.
