A view doon the watter

I was in Inverclyde today campaigning for the SNP candidate in the by-election.

I chapped one door and while I was waiting on the door being answered I turned and looked at the view behind me...

This photograph doesn't really do it justice as it was taken from a lower vantage point than the ladies doorstep so that bush is in the way a bit.

However, it was a spectacular view down the Clyde. When I was chatting to the lady I remarked on the view she had and she agreed that it was beautiful. Turns out there use to be a block of flats across the road that were demolished and the view was opened up...what a result:-)

Wish I had asked her if I could have taken the photo from her doorstep:-/
