Same shape as yesterday's.

I just had time to whip out the compact and take a quick shot of this raspberry cinammon pavlova. (It's especially scrummy in large.) Tonight it was my turn to host the Humshaugh wine tasting group. We taste 8 wines: 4 white and 4 red. We discuss them and give them scores. Then we have a meal together and - yes you guessed it - drink more wine!

I decided to provide a cold meal - salmon, cooked meats and salads. That made it easier for me to be on hand to pour and hand around the wine. Also it is June 18th today, so we might have expected to do the first part of the tasting in the garden...... Well, the garden is glad of the rain that came down....

It's after midnight. I've washed all the glasses (4 each for 7 of us and that makes too many!. Time for bed and hopefully no one will have a hangover in the morning.

PS The alternative dessert was an orange and yellow fruit salad and was a hands down winner over the pavlova!
