Lazy Sunday afternoon

The wind and rain have died down this afternoon, but the light still seemed rather flat. I wandered down to the bottom of the garden for the first time in a while and saw lots of possible blips amongst the flowers, leaves and fruits.

But yet again I didn't manage to get the Sigma lens to capture the light sharply. I must admit I noticed later that I had mistakenly kept exposure compensation on, which didn't help proceedings.

Bomble joined me, in a playful mood, having been asleep all day, and was ready for even more food. I heard him leap up onto the roof of the old shed and tried to film his prowling gait as he explored this high vantage point. He was quite excited and tried to swipe playfully at my hand, as he looked down at me from the edge of the roof. Then he laid down in a submissive pose, just out of my sight above me. I stretched my hands up high in the air and just took this shot of him splayed out on the roof felt.

Bomble is a Bombay and appears black, but here he reveals his true colours, as well as his small white haired patch at the top of his chest.
