Too little, Too Late

I was going to go off on another rant about the rain again after it put a damper on yet more outdoor activities (it was just starting again as I took this shot so I gave up), but the skies have cleared and the sun's came out for the the final couple of hours of the weekend. Too little, too late though and it feels like rubbing salt into the wound after 48 hours of dreich.

Anyway, breakfast in bed courtesy of the kids got the day off to a decent start and it's been a fairly relaxed Father's Day listening to the radio, catching up with magazines and sitting outside in the rain.

Time to finish off with some mind-numbing TV (Keanu Reeves in a pretty dire remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still is hitting that target pretty well on that front just now) before facing the return to work tomorrow. What's the betting the sun will be back for that?
