Gecko. I think.

Not car, not food, but wildlife!

The local "pest" is the Gecko lizard or something. Actually, it's not classified as a pest because it's not destructive, doesn't harm anything, and generally does it's own thing which involves avoiding humans. So, pest is a bit harsh despite it being the subject of various internet conversations.

This chap was quite small and only a couple of moments earlier was bright green. So, unless there were two outside (likely) he changed colour pretty pronto. (The length of the time it takes to change a lens).

This picture was taken with my bargain basement Cosina 100mm lens that I found in an old box one day, and they can be had on Ebay for about a tenner. Not a bad lens, although if the subject wasn't walking I might stand a better chance of getting something in the macro mode in focus.

And such, couldn't pass up this blip today.
