Iris

In Greek mythology, Iris was the goddess of the rainbow. And I think this is quite divine. The light under the rainbow was really different to the light above.

Went to see a play this evening. It was called ?Blütenträume? - and I think this means "Flower dreams" but I'm prepared to be corrected. It's quite a funny play although I will admit I missed a fair few of the wordy jokes. It's quite difficult to stop a play and ask them to do the line again a bit more slowly. After the third time of asking I got the distinct impression that it wasn't the done thing.

The theatre was the Fritz Rémond Theater im Zoo. It's quite a small space, reminded me a bit of the Traverse in Edinurgh. My first theatre experience in Germany and I think it was a very good one. I like the idea of the theatre in the zoo too. I know Zoos are not meant to be a good thing anymore but I still get a thrill from them.

One of the actors (Michael Altmann) is a friend of A and we'd arranged to see the show and then go for a drink with him. That was a lot of fun. If you'd like to know more about the play (and can read Deutsch) look here.

Today's song is from Kaminey.
