Antibiotics
A bit of a mad dash to the vet at lunchtime today. Moot started doing that into the litter tray and nothing happening thing and then HOWLING. After the escapades of last time, he got bundled in to his carry case and we schnelled off.
Or rather, we would have schnelled but every flipping traffic light was red. And the normal route out of the city was closed. Not funny when you're sitting with a stressed out Kater. Still, we got there in the end.
Moot had another ultrasound and three x rays (man does his back left leg look weird*). He was weighed - he's lost about a kilo since the new diet kicked in - and he was generally given a good looking at. He has a bladder infection, according to the vet and these are the Antibiotics we have to give him for the next 4 days.
To be honest, it looks a lot less of a struggle to give him these injections than it is to get him to eat the paste.
He's sparked out on the rug now. I think the stress has left him. Not me, I'm still bouncing around like a demented super ball.
* Moot had a very bad accident before he came to share with me. His left leg has set very strangely after it and his hip were badly broken. It hasn't set within the hip joint properly and it looks really odd in the X-Ray as a result.
