These pretty, lacy little things are now stewing away in a heavy syrup with some lemons in a cordial manner.

It was surprisingly hard to get hold of any citric acid. Apparently in purchasing it I am in the poor company of bomb-makers and drug-cutters. Who'd have thunk it.
