Te Tihi O Kahukura

Castle Rock as its known to us Cantabrians,sits above Christchurch on the Port Hills.It is an exposed dyke,or volcanic dome.Yes ladies and gentlemen,not only do we have have earthquakes,we have volcanoes.Lets just hope they don't know each other.Thats the last thing we need is for this sleeping giant to wake up!!Since the earthquakes started,it has slowly lost its grand shape.Boulders the size of large trucks have found their way down the slopes to the houses below.Scary stuff!!!
