Dog Tired

Oscar has had enough of today. Two walks and two soakings so he has now retired to the new sofa (when my back was turned). But who can blame him it has been a horrid day with the weathermen predicting more of the same for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Time to start thinking about moving to warmer climes.

The foxgloves and canterbury bells are so sodden they are almost flat on the ground. I will need to find time tomorrow to nip out and restake them before its too late.

Sitting in this evening its more like November than June. May have to cheer myself up with a small glass of midweek wine
