"Mom, how can I grow up faster?", my daughter asked from the backseat.
Instantly I knew this was a very important question, one I needed to answer quickly, yet wisely.
"Eat all your healthy food and excersize every day."
"Uh, duh, Mom. I already do that. What I want to know is how I can grow faster."
"Why do you want to grow up faster?"
"Because I can't wait to live on my own, make my own decisions, and have my own kids."
"Make sure that you enjoy every single moment of each day, Alyssa. Before you know it your wish will have come true."
"Yah, I guess you are right. Some kids never get the chance to grow up, so I will have fun now. But I will still eat more healthy food anyway."
