Don't Worry, Be Happy

This has been a wonderful week. The kids went to camp everyday and I managed to be so productive and at peace the whole time. This is probably my first week in twelve months I have not been in the presence of at least one child or as many as 18. Until this week, it never occurred to me I was actually holding my breath, nearly suffacating. This lily has the most amazing scent. Powerful yet delicate, utterly stunning. And really it's only the first time you smell its fragrance that the second time has to be slowly cherished. The scent dissipates like bubbles released from deep within the sea. You'll never get it back.

Oh, but the memories remain sweet for all eternity.
