Ecker's Tears

A triathlon that doesn't figure in the Olympics is the one that involves cycling home from work, having a quick bath, changing into some dry clothes, driving three miles to leave a car outside the house of your ex-partner because it's her turn to take your son to nursery the next day, and then walking back in the drilling rain because you don't have any change for the bus.

On the third leg I was delighted to come across these glasses on the top of a junction box, presumably dropped by accident, and later retrieved and placed in a prominent position by a passer-by.

Ecker's Tears is a track on the debut album by the Australian duo The Scrapes, which has been in my earphones on and off all day.
